2011 Litter
PUPPIES ARRIVED 6/4/11! 10 BLACK BEAUTIES!
Del's Little Less Conversation
Am Can Int'l UKC Gr Ch Astrae Speedster RE BN
The handsome Astrae stud, Bailey, was selected to sire Gabby's final litter. The two compliment each other in many attributes including sound structure, lovely movement, and outgoing people-loving personality. We are really anxious to see what this breeding produces! Parents have been tested and have favorable results of: OFA hip, CERF, VonWillebrand's disease, Neonatal Encephaly, CERF eye exam, Thyroid, and Sebaceous Adenitis. A predominantly black litter is anticipated.
We would like to thank Joyce Wilson of Astrae Standard Poodles for alllowing us to use her stunning boy! Bailey loves to show! He is an accomplished champion in AKC, CKC, UKC ( grand ch), and International showing. He also recently obtained his Rally Excellent title. Having so many nice attributes to the breed, I am hoping to get a "Bailey Jr" out of this litter!
At Chesla, there is a focus on quality rather than quantity. Generally, no more than one litter is planned per year using fully tested adults. We do keep a contact list to announce a litter arrival.
We welcome phone calls and e-mails to answer your specific questions. Interested parties must provide Chesla Standard Poodles with two references (one must be your veterinarian) and participate in an interview to ensure puppy and family will be the right match. A signed sales contract with spay/neuter agreement and $200 non-refundable deposit will hold a puppy until it is fully weaned at age 8 weeks. Puppies are sold on limited registration. Our puppies have tails docked, dewclaws removed, deworming completed, and vaccinations up to date. Volhard Puppy Aptitude testing is completed by a professional trainer at age 7 weeks which proves to be a helpful tool in matching puppies with compatible homes.
